His self description is unintimidated, but he's hardly been that in the campaign. To be fair he has been that in Wisconsin. Totally unitimidated by teachers, public works employees, social workers, and correctional officers. Nationally he was exposed as a puppet of his donors. All he did was avoid gaffes.
The guy would not answer a question about going to a gay friends wedding without dancing around the issue to avoid an answer that might offend the religious nutjob wing of the GOP. Unintimidated? Please. As an aside, he did go to the wedding of a gay friend. Why not just answer "yes?" "Yes. I'd go to a gay friend's wedding. In fact I have. My private life is different than public policy." This empty suit couldn't think to say that?
Birthright citizenship questions were followed by we have to enforce the law platitudes, and "we have to look at that." By the way, birthright citizenship is the law Governor Derp. "We have to look at that, and get back to you" is a political answer that says "I don't know what the fuck to say. Let me ask my donors and see what they think.
